A 29-YEAR-OLD man with a history of self-harm and a heroin addiction was found dead in a bail hostel, an inquest heard.
Sean William Jennings was found dead by another resident at the hostel in Bath Road, Worcester, at about 10.30pm on Saturday, October 23.
The former poultry processing operative at Sun Valley in Hereford had been released from prison just three days prior to his death.
On the evening of Mr Jennings' death one of the residents had reported seeing his room light on all day. Staff used a master key to get into his room, where they found him dead in a sitting position on the side of the bed.
Medication was found in the bedside cabinet but confirmation of the cause of death has not yet been received.
Worcestershire coroner Victor Round opened and adjourned an inquest into Mr Jennings death to a date to be fixed.
