DEERLY loved Sam and Jess made a pit stop in Worcester to make sure Christmas preparations were on track.
On Sunday, the two reindeer, along with their boss, Father Christmas, spent the afternoon at the Worcester Garden Centre, Droitwich Road, Claines, where more than 2,000 people came to see the sleigh-pulling team.
Shop sales manager, Adrian Fox, said the reindeer had been given a tremendous welcome.
"We've never done anything like this before and the turn-out was amazing," he said.
Sam, Jess and Father Christmas will return on Saturday, November 13. Thereafter, visitors will be able to see the reindeer every weekend in November, between 10.30 and 5pm on Saturdays, and 10.30 and 4.30pm on Sundays.
For details, call the centre on 01905 451231. And on Saturday, December 4, Santa will set up permanent shop at the centre for the rest of the month, and visitors will be able to treat themselves to breakfast or tea with the team.
