HEALTH experts are drawing their search for the source of a Legionnaires' disease outbreak in Redditch to a close.
The source of the disease, which killed two people and affected two others, has not been found, despite weeks of testing.
One man is still recovering at home.
Director of the Health Protection Agency in Herefordshire and Worcestershire, David Kirrage, said: "Despite taking 128 samples from all identified local potential sources, we are no closer to finding the origin.
"There have been a number of clusters of Legionnaires' Disease across the country this year where no source has been found.
"It may be this will prove to be the case in Redditch.
"However I can reassure the people we have been working very hard to try to find the origin and eliminate any potential sources of infection."
