POLICE are desperately seeking information on the whereabouts of a 47-year-old man missing from his home.
Evesham Police are concerned for the welfare of Roy Careless, a self-employed gardener, who went missing from his home in Shinehill Lane, South Littleton at 8am on Monday.
"Due to health reasons - and the fact that he may not have taken his medication with him - we believe there is genuine immediate concern for the welfare of Mr Careless," said a police spokesman.
He is believed to have been going to see his doctor before going on to work at a clients, but did not turn up at either address.
Mr Careless is described as white, of slight build, 5ft 10ins tall, with short, thinning, light brown hair, blue eyes and wearing glasses.
At the time he disappeared he was believed to be wearing plain green work trousers, a shirt - colour un-specified - a green zip-up fleece and size 10 brown walking shoes.
Mr Careless, who has the word "Roy" tattooed on his left forearm, would also have been wearing a white-faced wrist-watch with a yellow metal rim and tan-coloured strap. He took approximately £5 with him.
He drives a grey Nissan Sunny estate car, registration L918 FOV, which is also missing. He is right-handed and smokes roll-your-own cigarettes containing Amber Leaf tobacco, which he keeps in a metal tin with "Bob Marley" written on it.
