HEADLESS Cross Ladies saw their Premier League game called off against Stoke City Ladies on Sunday due to a waterlogged pitch.
After missing the last two weeks' matches because of the inclement conditions, Cross will be hoping the weather picks up as they take on neighbours Stratford Town Ladies next week at Abbey Stadium (KO 2pm).
Cross will still be without Mandy Ellicott (ankle) and Denise Markham (ribs) but have added defender Emma Brayley to the squad from Leafield.
Headless Cross manager, Rob Auld said: "It was disappointing again to see our game called off.
"Hopefully we will be able to get back to action against a tough Stratford side, the cup draw gives us a good chance to progress to the semi-final as we try and win the cup for the third year running."
The ladies have drawn Droitwich Spa Ladies at home in the quarter-final of the Hereford and Worcestershire County Cup to be played on November 21 (KO 2pm).
