Barnt Green Spartak 2
Pershore Town 1
PERSHORE came into this Midland Football Combination Premier Division clash having drew with Bloxwich Town in midweek and beaten Coleshill Town last week.
But this didnt seem to help them much as they never got going in a match that was so one sided in Spartak's favour that it was amazing that they only scored two goals. The first-half saw non-stop Spartak attacks, but they only had a Karrol Hamber goal to show for their efforts as turned in a Alex Lewis cross on six minutes.
Chance after chance came and went as Spartak missed a host of good chances which could have easily seen them go into the break with anything up to a 10-0 lead. The second-half wasn't much better for Pershore as Spartak continued the attacks with Warren Sewell shoting into the roof of the net on 66 minutes to put Spartak 2-0 up.
Martin West did pull a goal back for Pershore in the 84th minute.
