TO the People of Bromsgrove and surrounds- a challenge and an invitation!
Early next year Bromsgrove will have a new theatre - The Artrix, and here is an opportunity to be seized! Two important aims of the new theatre will be to bring high quality and varied theatrical productions to the town, and also to present an opportunity for a wide range of people in and around Bromsgrove to take part in the exciting world of theatre.
All & Sundry is a new Bromsgrove-based theatrical group aiming to help achieve both of these objectives. We want to involve as many people as possible (of all ages and backgrounds) in our productions and activities. We aspire to putting on performances of the highest possible standards of quality and artistic ability, but at the same time we want to look to the future and through training, practice, and involvement of all, ensure that All & Sundry is a dynamic, exciting, challenging and innovative group.
But, in case this sound a bit daunting, it is equally important that all members have fun and enjoy and benefit from the experience of being part of All & Sundry. After all, there is no point in doing something if you don't enjoy it! To this end, there is an active social side to the group.
We can only do all this, however, with your help and support. First of all, we hope that you'll come to see our productions. Secondly, we hope you'll join us, or become a "Friend of All & Sundry". I would point out that joining us does not mean that you have to be an experienced and gifted performer! In many productions there are more minor roles in which experience and ability can be developed.
So, the challenge is to take advantage of the Artrix and make theatre in Bromsgrove truly take flight! The invitation to you is to support or join All & Sundry so that, with your help, we can indeed meet that challenge!
