Rugby St Andrews 35
Alcester 0
Alcester slipped to their most comprehensive defeat of the season - a result that leaves them just one position above the drop zone in Warwickshire One.
The game was over a contest at half-time as Alcester trailed by 22 points thanks to three tries from the home side improved by two conversions and a penalty.
Alcester seemed to recover after the break but they still didn't retain the ball well enough and had possession turned over too often.
This allowed the home side to register another 13 points thanks to a converted try and two more penalties.
The visitors' disappointed skipper Brett Allard praised his forwards for their tireless effort, in particular the role played by prop Steve Lunn who was the pick of the Alcester pack.
Alcester have a break from league action next week and instead visit Midlands West Four strugglers Yardley and District.
