WITH the latest council audit report now out for public view on the so-called voluntary engaged Bromsgrove District Council, it will be interesting to see what areas mentioned in the report will now be attended to.

The report and voluntary engagement means the leader of the council only has to read it...he 'still' does not have to agree!

So we, of the Bromsgrove District Independent forum, are now asking the Council Tax payers for their feelings of the services they have received from the council.

Are they pleased with the cut-backs, increases in tax and the admitted council plain incompetence?

Anyone with a story to tell, we would welcome it, we want to assess the feelings of the Bromsgrove people, we now know through the government report what the council have to do to bring it back on a parity with other councils again, but we do not know what is needed from the public's point of view and that is the most important issue of all.
