WHEN staff at the Bromsgrove Harvester donated a box of fruit and veg to a town school, they had no idea how creative the children would be.
Manager of the Birmingham Road restaurant, Giles Carless, donated a hamper for harvest celebrations at Lickey Hills Primary School and to help with inspiration for designs for the Harvester Schools Salad Art Competition.
Youngsters competed against each other to produce a high standard of dinner plate designs.
Ten-year-old Ellie Williams, from the Old Birmingham Road school, won the competition and has had her design immortalised on her very own china dinner plate.
A copy of the dinner plate will also be put up in the restaurant for everyone to see.
