A PAIR of self confessed loopy ladies are doing their bit to support two of Bromsgrove's good causes.
Business partners Anita Mears and Karen Phillips, from The Clothes Rail Etc shop, are donating ten per cent from all on-line purchases to the St John's Landmark Appeal and the Primrose Hospice. The shop, in Worcester Road, is an ever-expanding Aladdin's cave of gifts, collectable and pictures. Anita, who also chairs BroMark - the town's traders' group - said: "We invite customers to log on to our new website www.loopyladies.com and help raise money for the two charities.
"Today there appears to be a growing tendency for some people to grab all they can. We thought it a good idea to give something back."
The Landmark Appeal has a £1m target to help repair St John's church and the Finstall-based hospice needs £500,000 a year to continue to care for patients. Other charities and schools are being invited to contact the pair if they want to benefit from the scheme.
Karen added: "Don't worry if you haven't got access to a computer. Just pop into the shop opposite Shooting Supplies and the offer will still apply."
The scheme ends on December 31.
