DROITWICH Knee Clinic is the subject of a new television documentary being screened later this month.
A television crew from satellite channel Bravo filmed an episode of their new series All About Men at the St Andrew's Road clinic last month.
The programme, which started on Monday, is aimed at men who want to look and feel great about themselves and is presented by England goalkeeper David James.
The episode filmed in Droitwich follows Aston Villa football player Liam Ridgewell, who suffered a ligament injury.
It explains how the injury was treated at the knee clinic right through to full recovery and return to the pitch.
Knee expert Oliver Schindler treated the central defender and this was followed by a course of physiotherapy with Lesley Hall, who specialises in recovery.
Elizabeth Watson, clinic manager, said: "In all cases the specialist and the physiotherapist work very closely together.
"We do tend to see a lot of sportsmen and women as well as people from across the country and even abroad."
She says Bravo decided to feature the knee clinic because one of their media executives had been successfully treated there.
The Advertiser visited the clinic last Tuesday, when Mr Schindler was examining knee patient Mary Kershaw.
She has already had one successful knee replacement and is returning for another.

All About Men is screened on Bravo from Monday to Friday at 10.30pm.
