A REDDITCH man is proving he's a star sports student by helping to launch a debate on Ethics in Football at the University of Birmingham.

The debate will cover issues including drugs, salaries and clubs' community work.

Scott Walsh, 20, who is studying sports, PE and community studies and is a member of the University of Birmingham AFC will be helping to launch the debate at 6.30pm this evening at Lecture Theatre G12, University House at the University of Birmingham Business School.

The debate will feature two guest speakers, the FA's Tony Pickerin, head of ethics and sports equity, and Alan Flitcroft, partner and head of Ernst & Young's European Sports Group.
