BEFORE disabled drivers complain about fit people parking in disabled spots, they should get their own house in order.
Many times I have seen vehicles bearing disabled stickers drive on to Church Green, the driver jump out and stroll off to do some shopping.
On one occasion, the man actually ran into the Kingfisher Centre.
The same thing happens in the multi-storey car parks all the time.
It tends to make some able-bodied drivers ignore the markings.
Church Green, in particular, is for specially adapted vehicles only.
Sometimes, there is not one automatic transmission car there, let alone ones which have special modifications.
If there was less abuse of the disabled badges by relatives, able-bodied drivers might take more notice.
