MY wife and I booked tickets for the Palace Youth Theatre's production of The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole after reading the feature about it in the Redditch Advertiser (October 20) as we both admire Sue Townsend's writing and like to support local arts.
We expected a pleasant evening out but were thrilled by the standard of the acting and enjoyed it immensely - and this was on the first night.
The casting was perfect, especially with James Cassidy as Adrian.
The actors and all the production crew must have worked and rehearsed extremely hard to create such a high-quality, seamless performance.
Thank you all very much for such wonderful entertainment. You deserve to be very proud of yourselves!
