AN artist's impression of the new holocaust memorial near St Stephen's Church has been revealed this week.
A planning application has been submitted to Redditch Council for the memorial, which it is hoped will be placed in the grounds of the church near Market Place.
The memorial was originally designed by Redditch student Chase Lloyd and will be sculpted by artist Andy Decomyn.
The council rejected a previous planning application to locate it near the Church Green fountain last year because it would "interrupt important views of a listed structure" and created a 'cluttered' appearance."
The national Holocaust Memorial day will be held in January.
