MEMBERS were welcomed to the meeting on September 23 at Wythall Village Hall, which opened with the group prayer.
The homemade cake stall at Wythall Carnival raised £102 and thanks were extended to all members who made cakes and helped on the stall.
The list for the Christmas meal at Shugborough is now full, with names on a waiting list.
The competition this year is a small Victorian Christmas tree decoration and instead of sending one another Christmas cards, members will hold a collection for the Primrose Hospice.
Speaker Jane McCardle, deputy curator manager of Blakesley Hall, gave a talk and slide show about the hall, its history and how it came to be a museum.
