THE coming week is sure to go with a bang with firework displays taking place in and around Redditch.
Today, Redditch Council is holding a free firework extravaganza at Arrow Valley Lake from 7.30pm, with a guest appearance from Bear 102 FM and Tommy Wilson's funfair.
Car parking is available on Padgetts Lane, with disabled parking in the Lakeside Car Park and Dial-a-Ride transfers available.
Redditch firefighters are hosting their display on Friday at the station's Birmingham Road base, with "lighting up" time set for 7.30pm. Admission is £2 for adults and £1 for children.
SE Davis' display, organised by Astwood Bank Carnival Committee, will be taking place on Edgioake Lane the following day with fireworks at 8pm.
Wythall Community Association is holding a display for young children at 7.30pm and at 8.30pm for older children and adults in Wythall Park. Tickets cost £4 for adults and £2 for children under 16.
Alcester's display will be held at 7pm on Friday at Alcester Rugby Club and the Friends of Alcester High School's display is also at 7pm in Big Meadow, Bidford, on Saturday.
