A FARCICAL romp set in the 1970s around the financial institutions of London is the latest production from Wythall Theatre Company.
Shut Your Eyes and Think of England plays at the Palace Theatre from next Wednesday.
Palace publicity officer Paul Hughes leaves his normal role behind to take on the role of Sheik Marami in the show.
Written by John Chapman and Anthony Marriott, the comedy follows the hilarious tale of Mr Pullen, who turns up for work one Saturday morning to finish the company's audit.
Paul said: "He discovers his boss, Sir Justin Holbrook, in the penthouse flat with a high-class call girl.
"With the unexpected arrival of Lady Holbrook, her husband passes the girl off as 'the second Mrs Pullen'."
Confusion then reigns as various other people turn up, including the real Mrs Pullen and a rich Arab Sheik, resulting in a maze of confused identities.
The cast also includes Dave Key as put-upon accountant Mr Pullen, Sue Lister as his dowdy wife, Dr Adam Lee as Sir Justin Holbrook, together with Beccy Key, Ed Parrot, Mike Beamish, Joy Rodgers and Peter Round.
Tickets for the production, which runs until Saturday, November 13, at 7.30pm, are priced £7 (£6 discount, £5 reddicard) from the Information Centre or by calling 65203.
Ticket requests can also be e-mailed to palace.bookings@redditchbc.gov.uk
