CROWDS of people turned out on the streets of Kidderminster town centre when market traders brought a taste of France to the town.
Freshly baked bread, garlic, cheeses, pate and crepes were just a few of the mouth-watering products on sale at the French market, which was in Kidderminster from Friday until Sunday.
Sue Harper, entertainment officer at Wyre Forest District Council, which organised the arrival of the traders with Kidderminster Town Centre Partnership, said it had been a "great success".
She added: "It did what we said it would do by giving the town centre a bit of a boost before Christmas and we will, hopefully, welcome the traders back next year.
"They have not been here for about three years and it was lovely to see them return. We'd like to see it become an annual event.
"The town centre was busy and I believe the traders did really well.
"They had a great range of goods with everything we'd hoped for and everyone seemed to enjoy visiting the stalls and buying things."
As well as tasty treats, visitors could also buy clothing, scented soaps and leather bags.
