PROBUS CLUB: Stanley Saunders gave a talk covering Members of Parliament of Cotswold and Worcestershire from 1906 up to the present time. In a vote of thanks, Mr Arnold Shepherd suggested that the talk should be printed for wider readership.
CONSERVATIVE ASSOCIATION: A successful skittle event was held at the Snowshill Arms. This attracted over 40 members and friends including a few guests from the Evesham branch.
Granville Shaw, the branch chairman, said the Broadway branch was now the largest membership in the Mid-Worcestershire Constituency. In July, the branch hosted a dinner at Dormy House for 150 guests for David Trimble. The skittle evening was part of a series of events which will involve the membership.
