PARISH COUNCIL: The monthly meeting was held in King Georges Hall. Councillor L Stow chaired the meeting.
Arrangements have been made for the Christmas carol service and the tree is due to arrive on December 11.
It was agreed by those councillors present to pay 25p a mile for councillors asked to represent Mickleton on council business.
A donation of £50 will again be given to the Royal British Legion's poppy appeal to pay for a poppy wreath.
There is still outstanding road and pavement work which needs doing in Cedar Road and a pothole has appeared in Broadway Road by the Mickleton sign. The highways department will be contacted.
The church alley is tidier but there is still an issue with hedging lower down.
The goalposts on the junior playing fields are to be erected sometime soon and the possibility of having a dog bin outside the field erected, as dog owners are placing their bags into the open bin in the field.
The next meeting is Wednesday, November 24 at 7pm. In future the public will be invited to precept meetings.
