QUAD biker racer Simon Davies likes to be beside the seaside after his second success in a row at the Western Supermare Beach Race.
Davies, 36, was first in class in the 4x4 category and finished in 10th place overall out of more than 500 competitors.
It is the second successive year that the Stourport rider has triumphed in the 4x4 division.
"It's a really big event and hundreds of people enter it with thousands of spectators," said Davies.
"I did well in it last year and I've done well in it again so I'm really pleased.
"I've got a few other races coming up including the UK championships so hopefully I can maintain this form."
There was less joy for his brother Andrew, 34, who finished 80th after encountering technical difficulties.
The duo go head to head in the final round of the UK Championships in Mid Wales this weekend.
Simon is second in the race for the title while his brother is in third.
Although leader Paul Winrow has now been crowned champion, the brothers are still battling for the runner-up spot.
