A KIDDERMINSTER school caretaker has completed his 101st marathon.
Les Jones, 55, ran the Snowdonia Marathon on Sunday, one of the toughest courses in Europe, recording a time of five hours 12 minutes.
Jones, an independent runner, who is caretaker at St Ambrose School, began running in 1982, but it was running the London Marathon in 1983 which really began his love of the sport.
He has also run the 55-mile London to Brighton challenge three times. This was the third time he has raced on Snowdon.
