WYRE forest teams who play in Sunday Division One of the Kidderminster and District Football League, fared well in the second round of the Worcestershire FA Sunday Junior Cup.

There were victories for Rock Sports, Mostyn Rangers, Wolverley Athletic, Stourport, and Wilden Village, but Bewdley Town went down 6-5 on penalties after holding Mazak to 3-3 at full time.

Brintons and Brintons CI Social from Sunday Premier progressed to the second round of the Worcestershire FA Cup, with wins over Bromsgrove General and West Heath Snooker respectively.

In round two of the Worcestershire Minor Cup, Harriers Trust, Burlish Olympic and Station Inn from Division Three, and Gilt Edge from Division Four were all successful.

Brintons, who play in Saturday Premier, beat Tipton Town Reserves 1-0 in the County Saturday Junior Cup second round, while in the same round of the Minor Cup, KS Athletic were the only Wyre Forest team to move onwards.
