ONE of the nation's favourite poets, Pam Ayres, is bringing her solo show to the Swan Theatre in Worcester next week.
She has had a career spanning nearly 30 years and has been a regular on BBC Radio 2 with her series Pam Ayres' Sunday Afternoon and Pam Ayres' Open Road.
She was still one of the top five best-selling poets in Britain in 1998 and 1999 and her poem I Wish I'd Looked After Me Teeth was voted in the top ten of the nation's favourite poems.
Her show, next Wednesday, will comprise stories, jokes, poems and anecdotes. Contact the box office for tickets on 01905 611427 (www.huntingdonarts.com).
