Evesham & District Airgun League
THE first round of the Harvey Hunt Cup saw holders Offen-ham RBL travelling to Benge-worth SSC and running out easy winners by 27 points.
Jamie Beadle scored a maximum for the visitors, while John Sollis and Donna Saxton both scored 44 the hosts.
Last season's runners-up, the Lygon Arms, travelled to Badsey RBL and, after a close match, made progress after a 280-276 success.
Barry Davies took the honours for the home team with a 48 - a score matched by Lygon duo Ian Harwood and John Walker.
Wickhamford played host to Stanton Club who won by 12 points with Andy Beadle scoring a 47 for the home team and Bryn Evans scored 49 for the winners.
The match between Badsey Rec and Campden RBL saw the latter making it another away match win with a one point triumph. Stewart Moore scored a 49 for Badsey and Campden's Bob Pitcher hit 48.
The Evesham League took on the Redditch League in the home leg of the W Feast Trophy at Badsey RBL.
The A team won by 14 points (233-219) with Bryn Evans high scoring for Evesham with a maximum 25.
The B team had 11 points to spare with Carl Beadle scoring a 24.
