ON Tuesday evening Malvern Town Reserves bowed out of the Smedley Crooke Memorial Cup when they lost 2-1 after extra time to Alveston from the Midland Football Combination.
Although Malvern took the lead through Scott Morris in the first half, Alveston equalised during the second period and scored the winner in extra time.
