REDMARLEY Short Mat Bowls Club hold two bowling sessions weekly at Redmarley Village Hall on Monday and Thursday with session times from 2-5pm and 7.15-10pm.
The club welcomes new members and has spare sets of woods for the absolute beginner and full training is given with the first session free and with tea and biscuits.

With the planned speaker unable to attend, Vanessa and Edwina Shaw from Sheppard House, Newent, kindly filled the gap and gave an interesting talk about the organisation, which helps so many people from Redmarley and the surrounding area.
Three members of the Redmarley Fellowship are regular workers at Sheppard House and Redmarley Handbell Ringers gave an afternoon programme there of old melodies and songs, which delighted all who joined in the singing.
Mary Humphris presented Vanessa and Edwina with pot plants and thanked them. Refreshments were served by Jean Aston and Jean Jenkins.
Redmarley Playgroup is holding a Christmas shopping evening at Redmarley Village Hall on Wednesday, November 7, from 7pm until 9.30pm.
MEMBERS of Upleadon Over 60s group held a bingo evening at Upleadon Village Hall on Monday, October 25. Mrs Hazel Berry was the caller and a good evening was enjoyed by all. Being half term some younger people were present. A raffle was also held.
