FOR the second consecutive week Malvern Rangers found themselves beaten by the weather.
Their scheduled West Midlands League Division Two fixture away at Chaddesley Corbett was postponed on Saturday morning with the ground failing a morning inspection.
Despite their inactivity Rangers are still in second place in the league table, one point behind table-toppers Cresswell but the Victoria Park-based club has two games in hand. Third-placed Parkfield are the only side with a 100 per cent record with seven wins out of seven.
Tomorrow (Saturday) Rangers, sponsored by the Cross Keys, are due to travel to Dudley United for a Division Two fixture, kick off 2.45pm, players to meet Brooklyn Motors 12.30pm, the Oak Apple 12.45pm.
Rangers will be looking to avenge their only league defeat to date when they lost 4-3, despite leading at half time 3-1.
