Malvern Lynx Marching Band has won promotion in a national championship event.
The band moved up from division three to two in the United Kingdom Federation of Jazz Bands championships in Ayr, Scotland last week.
The band, whose members are all aged under 15, also won the award for best display band and had six winners for individual instruments.
They were: Clive Fairclough (bass drum), Jason Yapp (tipper drum), Thomas Fairclough (try toms), Therese Taundry (cymbals), Jessica Brannelly (tambourine) and Madison McCollum (mascot).
Band leader Malcolm Fish said: "It was fantastic, everyone was over the moon. I've never seen so much screaming and shouting.
"We never thought we would go up to division two this year and we've done it."
The band was due to compete in a championship event in Wales on Sunday, but this has been cancelled after a fire at the venue.
