MRS Hardy said the art of letter writing is often thought to be dead.
In addition to my daily squibs in this paper, I write to my best mate Christine four or five times a week, and keep in touch with several others.
I've even written to Anna Ford several times, and she has kindly replied. I haven't got a clue how to send an e-mail.
