CARL Heeley has backed Worcester City to dismiss last Saturday's defeat by chalking up their third away league victory of the season at Bradford Park Avenue tomorrow.
City slipped to the bottom half of Nationwide North after losing 2-0 at Nuneaton Borough, but the St George's Lane club have games in hand on every club chasing a promotion play-off spot.
Avenue languish in the relegation zone after losing 12 times this term, a poor return which captain Heeley insists City should take advantage of at the Horsfall Stadium.
He said: "Away from home, you are always looking to get at least a point. But after Saturday's result, we need to go there and win the game taking into account Bradford's league position.
"We were bitterly disappointed after the Nuneaton game but there's a long, long way to go. It's a great opportunity for us tomorrow evening to climb a few places back up the league.
"We have still got games in hand and there comes a stage when you need to start converting these into wins."
