MALVERN Town slipped to a surprise 4-3 home defeat to bottom-of-the-table Bridgnorth Town in the Travel Factory Alliance yesterday.
The sixth-placed hosts fell two goals behind to a first-minute penalty opener from Andy Syder and Chris Childs' strike mid-way through the half.
Darren Bullock's penalty on 44 minutes and a second-half Simon Judge goal put Malvern level.
But former Stourport Swifts player Childs put Bridgnorth back ahead on 72 minutes.
And Gareth Vaughan added a fourth four minutes later to make Nathan Jukes' late strike purely a consolation.
Redditch United hit the Nationwide North top eight with a 3-1 home win over Moor Green.
Arthur Appleton, Danny Scheppel and Norman Sylla were all on target, while Neil Davis replied.
Pershore Town went down 3-2 at Highgate United in the Midland Combination Premier Division.
In Division Two, Droitwich Spa won 7-0 at Nunnery Wood Sports.
