BEFORE county councillors vote to concrete over more countryside to the west of Worcester for the Northern Bypass, could they ask for some "hard" evidence about the long-term effects of new roads?
Maybe comparing the traffic counts used to justify the Western Bypass for St John's with traffic counts now in St John's would be a good starting point.
New roads create new traffic to circulate in the overall system. They also create new developments to clog them up!
A WOOD, Worcester.
