WENDY Hands (You Say, Friday, December 17) is rightly concerned about our membership of the European Union.
As she says, the un-elected European Commission exerts enormous power, its accounts have not been signed off by the auditors for the last nine years, and fraud is out of control.
The Labour government is currently carving up our Army into formations of 1,500 men to fit neatly into the fledgling EU army, and, if the Constitution is ratified, the EU will be able to take on the trappings of a nation state in its own right.
Our membership of the EU is the biggest issue facing the people of this country. It impinges on every aspect of our everyday lives, and costs us millions of pounds daily for little benefit.
Wendy Hands is worried about UKIP "splitting the vote" in West Worcestershire at the next General Election and letting the integrationist Liberal-Democrat candidate in.
A poll carried out this year showed that 45 per cent of people want Britain to actually leave the EU, and be an independent, self-governing nation.
And yet the political establishment of this country including the Conservatives, Labour, and Liberal-Democrats continue to ignore this view.
We will offer those people the chance to have their voice heard, and yes, we will take votes from the Tories, and from Labour, and even more from the Liberal-Democrats!
