DUE to the England/Wales World Cup qualifier next Saturday (October 9) Malvern Town have re-arranged their league game for Friday evening (October 8).
Town entertain Oadby Town at Langland Stadium (7.45) in their Travel Factory Midland Alliance fixture and to avoid the World Cup game both sides have agreed to the Friday night date.
A Town spokesman said that playing on a Friday evening was an experiment to see what size crowd could be attracted and they hoped that supporters would turn out in force as it is expected that Oadby are bringing 50 supporters of their own with them.
TOWN Reserves who beat Badsey United 7-0 in the first round of the WFA Saturday Junior Cup last Saturday travel to Pershore Manor tomorrow (Saturday) in the first round of the Worcester Nursing Cup. Kick-off 2.30pm.
