KELIS, R & B's most appetising songstress will be stepping up to complete the V2004 bill fresh from her monster chart hit Milkshake.
Also joining Kelis in the festival line-up, will be Kevin Mark Trail, Fried, Rodrigo Y Gabriela, and Rooster.
Kelis made her V Festival debut in 2000.
"We're thrilled to be able to welcome Kelis back to V as the kind of global superstar we always knew she'd end up being," said Simon Moran, festival director.
"2004 has been a phenomenal year for Kelis in which she's quite rightly earned her crown as queen of urban music."
The V festival for Chelmsford is sold out, but tickets are still available for Weston Park, Staffs on Sunday, August 22.
This year's V Festival is to be headlined by The Strokes, Dido, Muse and Pixies.
There are still a few remaining day tickets available for Weston Park, Staffordshire - so those keen not to miss out are advised to get in on the action.
For Weston Park day tickets, call the box office on 0870 405 0447 for current availability or visit www.vfestival.com.
One-day passes are priced at £46.50.
Just some of the other big
