A PORCELAIN exhibition exploring Biblical themes of Epiphany and journeying is being held at Worcester Cathedral.
The show is the work of Nicola Currie (left), who is completing her art studies at University College Worcester.
"I would like to continue experimentation with porcelain forms in the future," said Ms Currie, also the Communications Officer for the Diocese of Worcester.
The exhibition, which features striking porcelain paperclay forms moulded in silk, explores the theme of journeying, and the travels of the Three Wise Men to visit baby Jesus.
The internally-lit porcelain leads the viewer from a piece of raw clay to completed vessels. The culmination of the show is three objects representing the gifts of The Magi - the Three Wise Men - to Jesus - gold for kingship, frankincense for offering or giving, and Myrrh symbolising death.
The exhibition runs daily in the South Transept of Worcester Cathedral until Tuesday, February 1.
