PEOPLE with an interest in Worcester's heritage are being called upon to help bring the Faithful City's history to the masses.
Volunteers from the Worcester Heritage and Amenity Trust have been busy showing off their home-made stocks and pillory as they start a recruitment drive.
The Trust has taken over the former site of the Museum of Local Life in Friar Street and re-launched it as the Worcester Heritage Centre, with high hopes for more volunteers to enter into the historical spirit.
"We're looking for all sorts of people to contribute to preserving Worcester's heritage," said Jenny Morecroft, one of the team of helpers. "Our volunteers' ages range from 25 to 88, so anyone's welcome!"
The Museum in Friar Street is open on Wednesdays and Saturdays, from 10am- 4pm.
