Cash-strapped Chaddesley Corbett have cast an envious glance at Bewdley and are keen to emulate their local rivals.
Chaddesley kick off their centenary year with a trip to Dudley United in the West Midlands League division two on Saturday.
And boss Martin Westcott believes they could do worse than learn from their high-graded neighbours.
He said: "Bewdley deserve Premier Division football and I hope they get the help they richly merit to achieve that desire. Perhaps we can learn from them.
"My job at the moment is to stabilise the team and make players want to turn up each week and enjoy playing for Chaddesley.
"The players are good enough but they lack a little self-belief, which we can overcome."
Saturday's match kicks off at 2.45pm at Wall Heath. Players should meet at the Land Oak for 1pm. Meanwhile, anybody able to offer Chaddesley any financial assistance can contact chairman David Yardley on 01562 632956.
