PUBLIC toilets in the Vale of Evesham are the best in the business.

Six toilets in Evesham, Pershore and Broadway are judged in the top five star category by independent judges.

Wychavon Council took the accolade as the fourth best authority in the UK for its public toilets in the 2005 Loo of the Year Awards.

The public conveniences were visited by independent judges who took into account factors such as cleanliness, friendliness and accessibility.

Wychavon's contracted attendant cleaners Mitie Cleaning (Midlands) Ltd took the Attendant of the Year Award.
