At the December meeting Margaret Seabrook was presented with a gift, as she planned to move to France before Christmas.
There were reports on various activities, including the village hall craft day for which members had made cakes and scones, for refreshment and for sale.
English Heritage has asked WIs to help in an "Audit of Clutter", and want unnecessary signs and bollards removed.
Guest presenter Janet Miller demonstrated how to make crackers and table decorations.
The evening finished with carol singing accompanied by Betty Handley.
The next meeting will be on Monday, January 10 at 7.30pm at Areley Kings village hall, when Nathan Turvey, from BBC Hereford and Worcester will be the speaker.
