A BEWDLEY hairdressing salon owner has vowed that vandals will not drive her out of business, despite a new attack on her premises.
Hayley Marshall, 24, was alerted to the latest damage to her Sculptures Hair and Beauty salon, in Queensway, on New Year's Day.
Someone living near the premises phoned to tell her the window had been smashed.
"It was bad," said Miss Marshall, who added: "They've pulled all my back fence down - they have trashed that."
The vandalism had cost her money, she explained: "I'm going to have to get it repaired. It's made me a loss on my profits now because I can't use the facilities in the room where the window's been smashed."
The room contains the business's sunbeds.
"I feel gutted, devastated," said Stourport-born Miss Marshall, who lives in Wordsley.
She told the Shuttle/Times & News in November how her salon had been subjected to previous vandalism attacks.
They included attempted arson, paving slabs being hurled through the front window and graffiti.
Her customers had also been intimidated by yobs swearing at them.
"I'm fed up with it all and disheartened," said Miss Marshall, "but, at the end of the day, they're not going to get me down. I'm going to keep going.
"I'm going to carry on because of my clients and the loyalty I have had from them."
She added: "There's not much that can be down. I'm just going to have to fork out for some CCTV cameras, which I shouldn't have to do, but I'm not going to give up."
