A DRIVE to recruit 130 new full and part-time members of staff at West Midland Safari Park is due to start in the coming weeks.

The Job Centre Plus Jobs bus will be dropping into the Bull Ring in Kidderminster on Saturday and Wednesday, January 12, to find people needed for the opening of the park in February.

A further 120 job vacancies will be available later in the season.

Michelle Link, human resources officer for the popular safari park, said a wide variety of positions were available, including admissions staff, guest services and catering assistants and ride attraction staff.

"We are keen to employ mature applicants and people who delight in giving excellent customer service," she added.

Kidderminster Job Centre manager, Kim Evans, invited anyone interested in applying for the vacancies to join staff on the jobs bus, who will be giving information about the posts available and issuing application forms, or drop into the centre, on Lower Mill Street, Kidderminster.

People unable to do either of those could find out more by calling Jobseeker Direct on 0845 6060234.
