HOSPITAL chiefs in Worcestershire have reassured patients that their health is not being put in danger.
At some hospitals in the UK, ward managers are removing identification cards from above patients' beds to comply with the Data Protection Act - which some claim is jeopardising their health because of a lack of information for staff about their treatment needs.
But a spokeswoman for Worcestershire Royal Hospital said it had no plans to remove identification from patient's bedsides.
