THE Chase U15s rugby team have won their way through to the last 16 of the national Daily Mail Vase competition.
The team has played 14 matches this season and has lost just three, at home in September to St Thomas Richards (7-41) and John Kyrle 19-34 and away in November when they lost at Bishop of Hereford Bluecoat School 20-0.
They drew the first game of the season 31-31 at home to Cleeve but have won all other games including home victories against The Chantry (22-19), Bedstone (41-5) and Dene Magna (19-15).
Away victories were enjoyed at Tewkesbury (14-21), Hereford Cathedral School (10-45), Prince Henry's High School twice (22-27 and 0-17), Church Stretton (0-48), Nunnery Wood HS (12-19) and John Masefield (7-25).
The Chase hope to progress in the Daily Mail Vase and the County Cup and retain the District Cup for the third year running.
