WINGER Nick Colley and defender Shabir Khan could make shock inclusions into Worcester City's squad facing Ashton United at St George's Lane tomorrow (3pm).
The pair may be drafted into John Barton's 16 for the Nationwide North fixture following a virus outbreak which has affected four regular City players.
Defensive pair Colin Hoyle and Barry Woolley have both contracted the 'flu bug, along with midfield duo Pat Lyons and Jai Stanley.
Colley suffered cruciate ligament damage to his left knee during the win at Droylsden on November 13, but his fitness levels following an operation last month are ahead of schedule.
Talented teenager Khan has not played for City since picking up a groin injury during the defeat to Bromsgrove Rovers in the Worcestershire FA Senior Cup defeat on November 23.
Barton revealed that both players are closing in on a return to action and could figure in his plans against Ashton.
