ABOUT ten per cent of Central Trains' services on the line through Malvern and Ledbury have been hit by an industrial dispute that started on Monday (January 3).

Passengers are advised to check train times before starting their journeys.

Rail union ASLEF and Central Trains are in dispute over overtime working and union members are refusing to provide cover for holidays and sickness.

A new timetable has been introduced at the last minute to take account of the disruption.

A Central Trains spokesman said that most commuter services were unaffected.
