Do I remember the good old days before the ghost town?
Unfortunately, I don't, as I think they happened about 40 years ago.
What I do remember is seeing some great bands in the Con-club.
In a town where the facilities available for live music are already depleted, the Con-club is essential for keeping what little music scene we still have here alive.
It is valued by music fans both young and old.
Its closure would be a tragic loss and leave a void in an already unexciting town centre.
